The Blue Ship is a fluctuating and amorphous musical organism, born out of the blood and toil of wrecked dreams and the hope which some might call ‘unkillable’. Its members shift and change, recede and expand, like the shimmering palpitations of some impossible dream-animal. Like a worm, it will regenerate severed portions of its body. Unlike the hydra, it only ever replaces what is lost.
